Built Right

Every structure we put up has to hold. For the crew building it, the guests standing under it, and the ground we leave behind. Responsibility isn’t a separate department at Choura. It’s part of how we build.

SAFETY IS THE FIRST THING WE BUILD

Before a single pole goes up, our crews are trained, certified, and equipped. Every team member on site works under OSHA-aligned safety program, with regular toolbox talks, jobsite safety briefings, and required PPE on every build.

  • 50 hours of safety training per crew member annually
  • OSHA 30-certified site leads on every project
  • Mandatory PPE: hard hats, steel-toe boots, harnesses for elevated work

We hold ourselves to this standard because our people and everyone at the events we build deserve to go home safe every night.

ENGINEERED TO HOLD, IN ANY CONDITION

Every Choura structure is built with safety, stability, and compliance at the forefront. From standard installations to complex, custom builds, our team works within applicable engineering, permitting, and inspection requirements to ensure each structure is ready for the environment, conditions, and guests it is designed to support.

  • Structures engineered to meet applicable local codes and jurisdictional requirements
  • Licensed engineering review and stamped drawings for custom and large-scale structures, as required
  • Site-specific permitting coordinated across the jurisdictions in which we operate
  • Pre-event structural inspections and load verification to confirm installation integrity

Great design starts with sound engineering. It’s the foundation that allows us to build boldly, responsibly, and with confidence.

BUILDING FOR REUSE, NOT LANDFILL

Temporary doesn’t mean disposable. Choura’s structures, flooring systems, and furniture inventory are designed to be installed, struck, and put to work again—helping reduce the material waste often associated with one-time event production.

  • Semi-permanent structures and modular systems designed for repeated use across multiple events
  • Warehouse recycling programs to responsibly manage materials and operational waste
  • Regional distribution centers in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Monterey help reduce transportation distances and associated emissions
  • Local materials, suppliers, and vendor partners prioritized whenever practical

For us, sustainability starts with a simple principle: build for today, with tomorrow’s use already in mind.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Choura is powered by more than 100 people who bring different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and skills to the work we do. We believe our strength comes from creating an environment where people have the opportunity to grow, contribute, and be respected whether they’re in the warehouse, on a jobsite, or in the office.

  • Proud to be an equal opportunity employer
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities that support continued growth
  • Committed to fostering a workplace and jobsite culture where every team member is treated with respect and has a voice

Building better events starts with investing in the people who make them possible.
