Emergency Response

As the world grappled with the COVID-19 pandemic, Choura recognized the urgent need for emergency response. With hospitals struggling to handle the influx of patients, we quickly pivoted from our traditional role. Instead of building for events, we deployed our resources and expertise to produce emergency facilities for first responders.

Our team immediately set to work, utilizing our knowledge of temporary construction to create testing and triage facilities for local hospitals. This emergency response was not just a service but a mission to provide peace of mind during an unsettling time.

From events to healthcare

When the crisis struck Southern California, we were there. Our team was at the ready, providing critical triage facilities and hospital extensions for numerous centers. Among them were notable institutions like Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Facility, Lakewood Regional Medical, Long Beach Memorial Hospital, and others. Our work didn’t stop at providing additional space; we ensured these facilities were fully equipped for medical professionals to function effectively.

Bringing our build knowledge into crisis mode

Each construction was comprehensive, designed to be fully functional temporary structures. We included essential features such as flooring, lighting, HVAC systems, and walls. There were also more complex elements such as generators, power supply, and negative air entry systems.

Rapid response for local hospitals

Our focus was not just on creating space but on creating effective environments where first responders could do their lifesaving work. Our emergency response was comprehensive and swift, delivering the structures needed in a time of crisis.

In summary, Choura’s emergency response during the COVID-19 pandemic was a testament to our ability to adapt, innovate, and above all, help when help was needed most. Our resourcefulness and dedication contributed to Southern California’s resilience during a time of global upheaval.
