EVENT EXPERTS IN CREATING SPACE AND CONNECTING PEOPLE
From its inception in 2019, the BeachLife Festival organizers turned to Choura and their expert teams to help them build a one of a kind festival experience in the South Bay. From creating one of a kind structures, to sponsor activations to the design of a fully functioning layout, we delivered a seamless production for fans and top talent.
An organized project team kicks off the project months in advance to align on event goals and set a plan into motion.
The unique venue required an environmental design that considers safety restrictions, fan traffic flow, and positioning of multiple stages and sponsor activation areas.
Since working with the BeachLife team from the beginning, our team understands its goals on a granular level and have made structure investments and strategies to help the event continue to evolve.
For over 7 years, our teams have partnered to deliver the iconic two-week tournament for the largest tennis event in the world. Most recently, we had a new goal put on our team: to attract new audiences and re-engage legacy ticket-holders. To achieve such goals, Choura reimagined key builds with a creative and strategic approach in mind, developing experiential concepts throughout the space.
To maintain the cultural relevance of the event, our team designed cornerstone builds and activations with a consistent theme to tie the 88 acres together and excite new fans.
We looked at every piece individually to inject the goals of Desert Champions in every build – from custom sponsor bars, a reimagined restaurant, and retail village.
The experience required a full team of production specialists from each key division to build from the ground up — including furniture selections, creative design, structures and engineering, event production, and overall marketing strategy.
Nationally recognized, Amazon enlisted Choura and team to create a unique activation at the famous Comic-Con event. We took the project on, producing a must-see experiential moment introducing fans to acclaimed Amazon shows by recreating iconic scenes through an immersive build.
Choura introduced specialized flooring to weather hundreds of thousands of fans. The structure was thoughtfully created to gain ample exposure while still allowing fans to feel that intimate connection with the brand.
Positioned on the highly trafficked corner across from the convention center, the build was branded to maximize visibility.
The structure housed digital and augmented interactions, including VR activations that allowed fans to step inside their favorite shows.
As Vital Protein’s preferred partner for all trade show and retail pop-ups, Choura works with the brand on their goals for all market needs. We’re able to utilize that information to design mutli-use builds to highlight the brand’s latest products for key retailers and consumers.
To keep with the pace of the brand’s growth, our build strategy required modular components that could easily be updated without a complete build overhaul.
To maintain the integrity of the design and quality across multiple shows and events, Choura created custom travel boxes for safe transportation and storage.
Participating in one of AdWeek’s largest industry gatherings, true[X] tapped the creative brains at Choura to create a space that personified the brand’s ethos and allowed true[X] executives to connect with other industry leaders.
We reinvented a stale hotel room into an executive oasis. Inspired by SoHo House and the brand’s identity hallmarks, we installed precise flooring, full hedge wrapping, and tailored decor to transform the space.
Impactful demo stations equipped with accessible and sleek custom-fabricated digital storage units paved the way for better connection and networking opportunities.
As a long-standing partner of the event, Choura brings a collective 20 years experience building and producing miles of structures spanning Long Beach’s longest raceway. Our production team works alongside the organizers to deliver all the event infrastructure and equipment, while our creative team jumps in to design activations and lounges for VIP’s and sponsors.
Each year, the event organizers team up with Choura exclusively for all tenting, furniture, flooring and structures, built to withstand over 185k+ attendees in a 3 day period.
The 31 day installation spans all of Downtown Long Beach and utilizes frame, festival, and jumbotrac tents as well as minibeam structures, cabanas, and more. Over 500’ of glass wall and doors line the pit row.
